Travel & Parking
If you’re planning to use public transport, the section below provides helpful tips for each mode of transportation. You’ll also find some parking information to assist with your journey. Use Google Maps or Waze to find the best route for you.
Tram Lines
Route 86
From Melbourne CBD or northern suburbs, take Tram Route 86 to Stop 19 (Johnston St/Smith St). If you’re coming from the south of the city, you may have to take Tram Route 12 first, then transfer to Route 86.
To Beneath the Ferns: 12-minute walk from the stop.
To Aunty Kim’s: 6-minute walk from the stop.
Route 109
From the eastern suburbs, take Tram Route 109 to Stop 15 (Wellington St/Collins St).
To Beneath the Ferns: 12-minute walk from the stop.
To Aunty Kim’s: 16-minute walk from the stop (consider taking a bus instead, as it's a bit far!).
Train Lines
If you're heading to Beneath the Ferns, take the Hurstbridge or Mernda Line to Collingwood Station. It is approximately a 10-minute walk to the ceremony venue.
For Aunty Kim’s, take the Hurstbridge or Mernda Line to Victoria Station. It is approximately a 10-minute walk to the reception venue.
Bus Lines
Wellington Street/Johnston Street is
a 1-minute walk to Aunty Kim’s and 9 minutes to Beneath the Ferns.
Bus Routes: 200, 207
Johnston Street/Hoddle Street is
an 8-minute walk to Aunty Kim’s and 11 minutes to Beneath the Ferns.
Bus routes: 246, 302, 303, 304, 305, 309, 318, 350, 906, 907, 908
Gipps Street/Hoddle Street is 8 minutes to Beneath the Ferns and 13 minutes to Aunty Kim’s.

Parking
Street parking is limited along Johnston Street, Dight Street, and nearby side streets. Around 6 PM, more spaces are usually available on Johnston Street.
For secure parking, 12A Gipps Street is a great option—just a 5-minute walk to Beneath the Ferns and 10 minutes to Aunty Kim’s.
